The instruction from the Lord to us for our move to Tokyo was this;
Prayer. Evangelism. Discipleship.
Evangelism is a big part of our assignment here.
The charge that Jesus gave to, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation," (Mark 16:15, ESV) is not only a responsibility, it is actually the key to advancing and overcoming in these days and in the days ahead.
Whether we actually ever face death because of our faith or not, each of us must hold in our hearts a willingness to lay down our whole lives for Jesus, to boldly declare his person and his kingdom, and face and endure whatever discomfort or shame that may bring. Only the indomitable spirit of a heart fully offered to Jesus will overcome the trends, pressures, and demands of the world. We are committed to cultivating this in our own lives, and to raise up people that would dare to go into all corners of the earth.
